You don't need any previous dance experience to start bellydancing.

Sabina's intentionally small classes offer a very individual way of tuition to every student to learn the techniques and movements of the dance in a friendly and supportive atmosphere of fun, without pressure or competition.

As Belly Dance is a very individual dance Sabina's teaching style is customized to every students' needs, easy to follow but yet challenging and students will be encouraged to develop their own style according to their growing abilities. Movements will be explained thoroughly step by step with a strong emphasis on posture, technique and grace.

If you decide to start in one of the beginners classes, usually 8 to 10 weeks duration, you should generally be prepared to complete at least 3 to 4 terms to start "feeling" yourself really dancing and not just following set steps and movements.

Please try to be patient with yourself even if some of the movements and the required body control might not come "within the blink of an eye".

Safe Dance Practice is a matter of course, including warm ups, stretches, cool downs, breathing-, Yoga-, and relaxation exercises.
